Note on changing the blade:

1. First remove the two screws on the blade.
2. The blade is then pulled straight off the shaft. ATTENTION: Do not rotate! If necessary, the blade transition can be slightly heated.
3. Slightly heat the top of the new blade and press straight onto the shaft. The blade can be aligned using the marking on the shaft.
4. If the shovel is in the right position, it is fixed with two screws (do not pre-drill holes!).

Tips:

It has two small slits at the lower end of the shaft. In the shovel there are corresponding counterparts for locking the shovel on the shaft. The mark on the shaft helps to place the shovel correctly (step 3) so that it is optimally fixed and has no play.
Only screw the screws in as far as they will go so as not to put too much pressure on the blade. If necessary, loosen by a quarter turn.
When changing to a different blade model, it may be necessary to drill new holes in the shaft. To do this, pierce a small notch in the shaft (preferably with an awl) and then tighten the screws in it.

Left or right hand pawn:

Lefties hold the stick with their left hand closer to the shovel. So the right hand is on top of the stick. Southpaws hold the stick with their right hand closer to the shovel. The left hand is correspondingly at the top of the stick. By the way, whether you play "left" or "right" has nothing to do with whether you are left-handed or right-handed. In general, more players play "left" than "right".
