The string consists of 2 "ears" each with a fixed winding. The string also has a fixed middle winding. Here the arrow is nocked and a nocking point can be set. The rest of the tendon consists of different strands. The strand count indicates the number of strands in the tendon. If your bow has a high draw weight, we recommend a higher number of strands and vice versa.
