What are ringettes? They are both a training aid and a sport in their own right.
For training, including USA Hockey's ADM drills, ringettes are used with a traditional hockey stick to develop hand-eye coordination, strength and creativity with puck movement. In the Sport of Ringette, the ring replaces the puck while the blade of the bat is replaced with a bladeless straight bat. Although the characters change, the goal remains the same: have fun, get in shape and score goals!
